Summer in Thailand

Hello everyone. I've been meaning to post all summer but just got the chance now. These are a bunch of random photos from the last couple of months I have spent in Thailand. I hope to see other people's photos soon.

My least comfortable aspect of spending time in rural Thailand is the bathrooms.

But the hotel we are staying in the area (15 minutes from the bathroom pic above) is about $14/night and super nice.

Rice farmer walking home after a day in the fields. She was blasting music in her headphones, probably from a cell phone.

This fruit vendor in a parking lot was working on his laptop. This was a pretty remote gas station outside of town with not much but rice fields for several miles. But the gas station is a national chain and every branch has gas, bathrooms, a 7-11, and a cafe with free wi-fi. This guy was posted outside the cafe using wifi to surf the net. He also had an excel spreadsheet open that looked like his sales for the day.

Doing my best to protect Puncharat from the sun.

Fake artsy photo of a duck pond.

Cooking buffalo insides at a friend's house.

The finished meal . . .

Delicious frogs waiting to be eaten at a restaurant in Laos.

Puncharat voting in the national elections. Thailand elected its first female prime minister.

A bunch of the market vendors all of a sudden broke into aerobic dance while we were talking to them about selling chicken.

A guy driving a motorbike while texting . . .

A cat selling eggs.
